Due to an agreement with Roland Mouret, Louboutin could not release this shoe so he created a very similar, yet slightly different version and called it Rolando. Rolande is the slingback version of this infamous shoe. Rolando is a covered platform pump with a hidden platform in the footbed. This enables a higher heel to be applied and the silhouette appears to be higher.
